My Story

I’m a British fashion designer and artist living in Spain, where light, landscape, and a slower rhythm of life continue to inspire my creative journey. My background in fashion has shaped the way I perceive composition, texture, and color — an appreciation for detail that naturally evolved into painting.

Art began as a personal escape, a quiet moment of stillness away from the structured world of design. What started as a private practice soon became a passion — a visual language through which I could express emotion, connection, and transformation.

My work is deeply inspired by nature — its forms, textures, and the way it mirrors our inner worlds. Through layered abstraction and organic movement, I explore the dialogue between chaos and calm, energy and serenity. Each piece captures a moment of emotion suspended in color, inviting reflection and stillness.

My
Inspiration

My inspiration comes from the ever-changing dialogue between the natural world and the inner landscape of emotion. I am drawn to the quiet places — the edge of the sea at dusk, the first light through mist, the stillness that follows a storm. These moments hold both fragility and power, a sense of impermanence that mirrors the cycles of life, loss, and renewal.

Each work begins as a response to something felt rather than seen — the memory of a horizon, the rhythm of the tide, the warmth of sunlight on weathered stone. Through layers of acrylic, texture, and color, I translate these sensations into abstract form, exploring the intersection of movement and stillness, structure and surrender.

I often think of my paintings as emotional landscapes — places that exist beyond geography, shaped by reflection and intuition. Nature’s language of color, erosion, and transformation becomes a metaphor for the human experience: how we evolve, soften, and rise again.

Ultimately, my work is a meditation on connection — to the earth, to memory, and to the quiet beauty found in change.

My palette is rooted in nature — drawn from water, earth, sky, and flame. I work with layered tones of cerulean blue, deep teal, violet, crimson, ochre, rose, and muted neutrals, blending them to create depth, emotion, and atmosphere.

Each hue carries intention: blues speak of reflection and stillness, reds of passion and transformation, greens and violets of growth and renewal. The balance of light and shadow, translucence and texture, allows the colors to breathe — shifting like the natural elements that inspire them.
